Ply Samrat

Ply Samrat is located right in the middle of Sector-11 at SCO Number 32. If you walk into the shop, the first thing you’ll probably notice is the smell of wood and the thin layer of dust that seems to settle on everything no matter how much we sweep. We have stacks of plywood leaning against the walls and it can get a bit crowded when a new shipment arrives. Panchkula gets pretty hot in the summer, and the shop can feel a bit stuffy, so we usually have a big fan going in the corner. We spend most of our time measuring sheets and helping people figure out what they need for their home projects. It’s heavy work, moving those boards around all day, and our backs definitely feel it by the evening. The SCO has been our base for quite a while now. We’ve seen many other shops come and go in Sector-11, but we’re still here doing our thing. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road for a bit, which usually results in some honking, but that’s just how it goes on a busy day. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights and carpets. It’s just a place where wood is stored and sold. We keep a ledger on the main desk and try to keep track of who owes what and what needs to be ordered next.
