Public Dental Clinic

Working at Public Dental Clinic right by the Main Chowk Bus Stand in Saha means you are never really in a quiet environment. Ambala City is always on the move, and being near the bus stand means we hear the constant honking and the engines revving all day long. It is a very convenient spot for people traveling through Saha, though. The clinic itself is dedicated to dental work, so you’ll see the big chair and the bright lights as soon as you walk into the back room. The waiting area is simple, with some posters about brushing teeth and a few chairs that have seen a lot of use. We try to keep the place as clean as possible, especially with all the foot traffic from the bus stand nearby. Sometimes people come in with a toothache right before they have to catch a bus, so we have to work quickly. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us keeping things running. We don't have any of those fancy waiting room televisions or coffee machines. It is just a straightforward place where you come to get your teeth looked at. The sink in the corner has a small drip we’ve been meaning to fix, but it doesn't get in the way of the work. It’s a busy, noisy, and very real part of Ambala City life. We just do our jobs and try to make sure people leave feeling a bit better.
