Our office is on the second floor of Ansal Plaza in Sector 5. We occupy the SCO 91-92-93 blocks. It’s a fairly large space because we have a lot of different things going on. Being in Ansal Plaza means we are right in the middle of a lot of commercial activity. You see all sorts of people walking through the plaza every day. Our workspace is pretty simple. We have rows of desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. It’s not the kind of place with modern art on the walls or designer furniture. We focus more on the trading and professional services we provide. The atmosphere is generally calm, though it can get a bit loud when the phones start ringing all at once in the afternoon. We have a good view of the parking lot and the main entrance from our windows. Most of us have been working together for a while, so there’s a lot of casual talk in between the serious work. We deal with a lot of paperwork and digital records. Lunch is often a communal affair where we share whatever we’ve brought from home. It’s a straightforward professional environment. We don’t try to be something we’re not. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and head home once the day is done. The plaza has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a small part of it.
