You can find us at SCO No-1-2 on the first floor in Sector 20, right there on the Peermushala Panchkula Road. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street coming up through the windows. We focus on media stuff here, so the rooms are filled with cameras, some old lights, and computers for editing. It isn’t some high-end studio you’d see in the movies, just a practical space for people to learn how to handle equipment. The first floor gets a lot of foot traffic from the neighboring shops and offices. We spend most of our time showing people how to frame a shot or cut a video without making it look messy. Sometimes the gear is a bit dated, but it still works fine for learning the basics. The hallways are narrow, and we’ve got posters stuck on the walls with tape that’s starting to peel a bit. It’s a real working environment, not a showroom. On hot days, the AC takes a while to cool the main room down, but we just get on with it. Students come in at all hours, depending on when they have time away from their other jobs or classes. We don’t have a fancy lobby, just a small desk where someone usually sits to answer the phone or greet visitors. It is a bit cramped when everyone is working on a project at the same time, but we manage somehow.
