Narain Hospital

We are set up at 42 Manauli House, right on Jail Road in the Manauli House area. It’s an old part of the city, and the building has some character to it, even if it’s a bit worn down in places. Being near Jail Road means there is always something going on outside, lots of people moving and rickshaws honking. We’ve got the hospital set up on a couple of floors. The stairs are a little bit steep, so we tell people to hold onto the railing and take their time. We don't have those fancy automatic doors or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be around to help you out. The waiting area has some old chairs that we’ve had for years. They’re still comfortable enough for a short wait. We keep the windows open when the weather is nice to let a breeze in, though the dust from the road can be a bit much sometimes. We have our small office where we handle all the bills and the records. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized, especially when it gets busy in the afternoons. We don't have a big lobby with a TV or anything like that. It’s just a place to come when you’re not feeling well. Most of our neighbors know us well, and we’ve seen a lot of the same faces for many years. It’s a simple operation, and we like it that way.
