About Anjana Tandon – Fashion & Trends in Panchkula
You can find me over in Sector 2 at house number 1120. It's a quiet area compared to the main markets, which is nice for getting work done. I've been doing this for a while now, mostly working on my own or with one or two people helping out when it gets really busy. The space is basically just a room filled with fabric, needles, and a few machines that have seen better days but still run fine. I don't have a big staff or a fancy corporate office. People usually find out about me through word of mouth. Someone tells a friend and then they show up at my door. It’s a very personal way of doing things. I spend a lot of my time looking at samples and trying to figure out the best way to put a garment together. Some days the light is good and I get a lot done, and other days it feels like I'm just fighting with the thread. I don't have a big marketing plan or anything. I just take the orders as they come and try to finish them before the weekend. It’s a simple life and I like being my own boss in my own space. If the doorbell rings, it’s usually a neighbor or a customer coming for a fitting. We usually end up having tea and talking for a bit while we check the measurements.
