Malik Home Appliances is down in Phase 2 of the Jaggi Colony. The address says 57 Main Market, but it is actually Plot Number 1764/1. We are right opposite Hari Palace Road. It can be a bit confusing for delivery drivers sometimes because of how the streets are laid out there. We have a lot of stuff crammed into the shop. Fridges, washing machines, and smaller things for the kitchen are usually sitting around the floor. We try to keep a path open for people to walk through. It gets a bit hot in the summer with all the machines plugged in and running, but we have a couple of fans going. Most of the people who come in are from the neighborhood. They usually just walk over from their houses in the colony. We spend a lot of time unboxing things and checking for scratches. If a customer has a problem with an old stove, they bring it in and we take a look at it. Sometimes it is just a simple fix and other times it needs a part we don't have. It is mostly just the three of us working here during the day. We have a small desk in the corner for the bills. It gets pretty loud when the market is full on the weekends. Anyway, that is pretty much what we do here every day from morning until we close up for the night.
