Lakme Academy

We have been set up at Sco -1140-1152 in Manauli House for quite a while now. It is right across from the Old Session Court in Prem Nagar, which is a spot most people in Ambala know pretty well. We spend our days teaching students the basics of makeup, hair, and skincare. It is a busy place, especially in the afternoons when the mirrors are all occupied. We are not a big, fancy corporate office. It is more of a practical workspace where things actually get done. You will often find us discussing different hair colors or the right way to handle a facial treatment. Sometimes the tea runs out before the workday is even over because we are all so focused on what we are doing. The stairs can be a bit of a climb, and the building is not brand new, but the atmosphere inside is good. We focus on the practical side of things because that is what really matters when you are out looking for work in this industry. Most of us here have worked in beauty for years, so we just share what we have learned along the way. There is no script or corporate handbook that we follow. We just try to make sure anyone who comes through these doors learns something they can actually use in a real job. If you are walking past the court, you will see our sign. It is just a place for learning a craft.
