At Kaushal Gynae And Medical Centre, we are located in Sco-406 Sector 20. It is a typical SCO building, so you have people coming and going for all sorts of reasons in the units next to us. Our space isn't huge, but we make the most of it. We have the reception area right at the front and then the rooms for the doctors in the back. The lift in the building is a bit slow, so most of us just take the stairs anyway. It can get a bit crowded on Monday mornings when everyone seems to show up at once. We usually just tell people to have a seat and we will get to them as fast as we can. It’s not about being fancy here. We have plain desks and basic chairs. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but nobody really complains about it. We’re more focused on the patients who come in. Some of them are nervous, so we try to just be regular people and talk to them like neighbors. Sector 20 is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside the window. We’ve got a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which is pretty much essential for getting through the afternoon slump. It is a busy life but it feels good to be part of the community here. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things organized.
