Karni Jewels

You can find Karni Jewels at number 945 in Sec-9. It’s a pretty simple shop where we do our jewelry work. We aren’t located in one of those huge malls with bright lights and fancy displays. Instead, we are in a more regular part of the sector where people live and go about their daily business. The shop is small and we have a few counters where we show what we have. Most of our day is spent working with small tools and looking through magnifying glasses. It’s detailed work, and it can be quite tiring on the eyes after a few hours. We deal with gold and silver and sometimes people bring in their old family pieces to be fixed or cleaned up. We like doing that because every piece of jewelry has a story behind it. The shop feels very personal, not like a big chain store where they don't know your name. We have some chairs for customers to sit on while we talk, and we usually have the radio playing in the background. Sector 9 is a nice enough place to be, and we have been in this spot for a good while. We don't try to be fancy or act like we are something we're not. We just do our work and try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door. It’s a steady job and it keeps us occupied during the long afternoons when the sun is hot.
