Kapoor Hospital

Our hospital is right at Police Line Chowk, so we are in the middle of everything. It’s a very busy spot with lots of traffic and people moving around at all hours. You can hear the sirens and the whistles from the traffic police throughout the day. The building itself is older, and it has that solid, worn-in feel of a place that’s seen a lot of people come and go. We have a main desk where we try to keep track of everyone, though the paper files sometimes get stacked a bit high when we are busy. It’s not a corporate facility with a bunch of rigid rules and polished signs. We just do the medical work that needs doing. We have different rooms for different needs, and we try to keep things as organized as possible despite the constant activity outside. Sometimes the waiting room gets really crowded and people have to stand near the door, which we don’t like, but that’s just the reality of being in such a busy location. We spend our time checking vitals, giving out medicine, and talking to families about their loved ones. The tea man outside is a regular fixture for us when we finally get a chance to take a break. We don't make big claims about being the most advanced place. We are just a local hospital at the chowk trying to help the people who walk through our doors.
