Kapil Eye Hospital

Our hospital is over at No. 240 Vivek Vihar. We are situated right opposite the PWD Rest House in the Civil Lines area of Ambala Cantt. It’s a well-known spot around here. Being in Civil Lines means it’s a bit quieter than the main market, but we still get plenty of visitors. We focus on eyes, which keeps us pretty busy from morning until evening. The building has been here for years. It’s not one of those modern glass towers. It’s a solid, functional building that fits in with the rest of Ambala Cantt. Inside, we have the testing rooms and the areas for surgery. We keep things very simple. No one here is trying to sell you anything you don't need. We just check your vision and deal with whatever eye problems come through the door. The staff has been together for a long time, so we work well as a group. Sometimes the waiting room gets full, especially on Monday mornings. People sit and talk or read the old newspapers we have lying around. It has a very local, comfortable atmosphere. We don't have a fancy marketing department. Most people come to us because their parents or grandparents did. We just do our work, look after the patients, and maintain the facility. It’s a straightforward job, and we take it one day at a time here in Vivek Vihar.
