Janta Engineering

We are located right in Shivaji Market on Ambala Road. It’s a lively place to be, especially since we’re near the old Kalpna Cinema. People still use that as a landmark even if things have changed over the years. Our workshop is usually full of the sound of machines and the smell of oil. We do various engineering jobs, mostly repair work and making small parts. The market is always crowded, so there’s a lot of energy around us every day. We get our tea from the stall nearby and start the machines early. It’s not a polished place; the walls have some grease on them and the floor is worn down from years of work. We don't have fancy brochures or a big marketing team. It’s just us and our tools. We take on whatever work comes through the door, from fixing a broken part to turning something on the lathe. Ambala Road is always busy with trucks and rickshaws, so it’s never quiet. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t really notice the noise anymore. It’s a good spot for a shop like ours because everyone knows Shivaji Market. We just focus on the job in front of us. Most days we go home with dirty hands and a bit of a tired back, but that’s the nature of engineering work in a place like this. We just keep the doors open and do what needs doing.
