Jaiprakash Associates Ltd(Cement Division)

Our branch is located in Sector 20 of Panchkula, up in Haryana. We are based in a flat in the GH-78 society, so the office feels more like a home-turned-workspace than a big corporate headquarters. This is where we handle the cement division work for Jaiprakash Associates Ltd. It is mostly quiet around the residential area, which is actually good for getting through the mountain of paperwork we have to deal with every single week. We have a few desks set up in the main room, and the balcony is usually where we go to take our tea breaks. The view of the surrounding city is okay, but we are usually too busy looking at spreadsheets to really notice it much. We deal with a lot of calls from different contractors and suppliers throughout the day. It is a lot of coordinating who needs what materials and exactly when they need them. The lift in the building is usually working, but sometimes we do have to take the stairs when it is under maintenance. We do not have a big sign outside or anything like that, so you really have to know which door to knock on. It is just an honest day of work for us. We make sure the entries are correct and the regional supplies are all accounted for. It is not a high-pressure environment, but we stay focused on our tasks.
