You can find Gupta Building Store over at S.C.O- 389 in Sector-20. We are right near the Axis Bank, which makes it easy for people to find us if they haven't been here before. Running a building store means things are always a bit dusty and there is a lot of heavy lifting involved. We have bags of cement, bricks, and all sorts of hardware tucked away in different corners. It’s not the cleanest place, but that’s the nature of the business. My brother and I usually handle the customers while a couple of helpers load up the trucks out front. The parking can be a bit tight in this part of Sector-20, especially during the middle of the day. We get a mix of contractors and regular homeowners who just need a few things for a repair. I spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and trying to figure out when the next delivery will arrive. Some days are long, starting before the sun is fully up and ending well after dark. We don’t have a fancy website or anything. Most people just know us because we’ve been in this spot for years. The shop is filled with the smell of wood and metal. We try to keep everything in stock, but sometimes we run out of the popular items and have to wait.
