Dhanur Textiles

Our place is located at Plot No. 368 in the Industrial Area of Phase-1 here in Panchkula. It is a pretty straightforward setup where we handle all our textile work. The building itself is easy to find if you are looking for it. Inside it is mostly the sound of the machines and the smell of raw cotton. We have a small team of local people who know how to run the equipment without much fuss. We usually start work around eight in the morning and keep going until the light starts to fade. There is a lot of lifting involved because the fabric rolls are quite bulky. We don't spend much time on fancy letters or big meetings. Most of our talking happens over a cup of tea near the loading dock. Haryana gets quite cold in the winter so we all bundle up and keep the doors shut to stay warm. In the summer it’s the opposite and we keep everything open for a breeze. We have a good relationship with the transporters who come to pick up the finished goods. They know where to park so they don't block the road for the neighbors. It’s a decent way to earn a living and we focus on getting the fabric out the door correctly every single day without too much drama. We like being part of the local industrial community here.
