Coromandel Fertilizers Limited

Out in Village Jharmari, on the road between Ambala and Chandigarh, sits our place. Being located in a village means things move a bit differently than they do in the city. We deal with fertilizers, so the smell is something you just get used to after a few days. There are always big bags stacked up in the warehouse, waiting to be loaded onto trucks. The traffic on the Ambala-Chandigarh Road is constant, with people moving back and forth between the cities. We have a lot of space out here, which is good because the bags take up a lot of room and the trucks need space to turn around. Most of the people working here come from the nearby villages, so there is a local feel to the whole operation. We follow the seasons—when the farmers need to plant, we are incredibly busy, and when things are growing, it gets a bit quieter. It’s a simple cycle. We don't have a fancy corporate lobby; it’s mostly just the warehouse and a small office for the weighbridge and the dispatch notes. The sun can be quite harsh out here in the open fields, so we start early to beat the heat. It’s honest work that supports the local farms. Some days are dusty, and the wind blows across the road, but we just keep the gate open and handle the incoming loads.
