Bharat Clinic

Bharat Clinic sits right on Ambala Hisar Road, just a short walk from the ICICI Bank. It’s a busy stretch of road and there is always noise from the traffic passing by throughout the day. We’ve been here for a while now, just doing what we do. The clinic isn't very big, but it serves the purpose for people living nearby or those traveling along the highway who need to stop in. Inside, there are a few chairs for waiting and a desk where we keep the records. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in if the door stays open too long, so we try to keep it shut. The fan hums most of the afternoon. It gets quite hot in the summers, especially with the sun hitting the front of the building. Most people know us because of the bank next door, it makes it easy to find. We open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and get ready for whoever walks in. It’s just a normal place, nothing fancy at all. You see the same faces often. We have a small sink in the corner and some posters on the wall that have been there since we moved in. It feels like a part of the neighborhood now. Nothing much changes around here, though the shops next door sometimes switch owners. We just stay here on the main road, keeping the lights on and seeing patients as they come.
