Bansal Eye Hospital

The hospital is located at 121 Civil Lines in Ambala City, right near Kalka Chowk and Misi Chowk. If you are familiar with the area, you know those intersections can be quite the experience with all the traffic merging together. Sector 7 is just a stone's throw away too. We’ve been in this spot in Civil Lines for a long time. It’s an older building that has seen plenty of people come through its doors over the years. We focus on eyes, so there are various rooms with charts on the walls and those machines you have to lean your chin into. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes because of how the building is laid out, but we have signs up to help people find their way. The waiting room is often full of people from the city and the surrounding villages. It gets a bit loud when it’s busy, with everyone talking at once. We don't have a fancy corporate office; it’s just the doctors, the nurses, and the clerical staff all working in the same space. The windows look out onto the busy street, and you can hear the horns from Kalka Chowk all day long. We just get on with the work of checking eyes and doing whatever else needs to be done. It’s a simple, honest place that has been part of the Ambala landscape for as long as most of us can remember. It gets the job done.
