Aggarwal Ice Cubes

At Aggarwal Ice Cubes, things are always a bit cold. We are situated in Baldev Nagar and have been running the machines here for a good while. Making ice sounds simple but it takes up all our time. The hum of the freezers is the background noise of our lives. We spend the day bagging up the cubes and moving them into the storage area. In the summer, it gets incredibly hectic because everyone is looking for a way to stay cool. We see a lot of delivery trucks coming in and out of Baldev Nagar to pick up their loads. The floor is usually wet and we all wear heavy boots to keep our feet dry. It is a practical business without any frills. We don't have a fancy showroom or a reception desk. It is just the production floor and the loading dock. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves in the middle of the night. That is just part of the job when you deal with freezing equipment. We know the people in the neighborhood and they know they can come to us when they need a bag for a party or a shop. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the work done. It is a cold job but someone has to do it for the town. We are just a small group of people keeping the machines running.
