4002 Field Hospital

The 4002 Field Hospital is located out here in Jenaly. It's a bit of a different kind of place compared to a big city hospital because we are a field unit. Things can be a little quiet or very fast depending on the day. We spend a lot of time making sure everything is ready for whatever comes our way. Being in Jenaly, the surroundings are different and we have to adapt to the local environment quite a bit. It’s not always easy working in a field setup but we’ve got a routine down now. We deal with all sorts of basic medical needs and try to keep things running smoothly without too much fuss. The staff stays busy with maintenance and checking supplies because out here you can't just run to a store if you forget something. We live and work close together which makes for a tight group of people. Most days involve a lot of checking charts and making sure the equipment is holding up in this weather. It isn't a flashy building with glass walls or anything like that. It's more about being functional and being where we are needed most. We get used to the sounds of the area and the specific way things work in a field hospital. It’s hard work but it’s what we do every day. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just people who need us to take a look at something.
