About Metech Engineering – Engineering in Panch Mahals
You can find us over at the GIDC Estate, occupying plots C/b 146, 148, and 149. It’s a bit of a spread-out space because we needed more room for the heavier machines we use. Working in an industrial area like this means there's always noise from someone’s lathe or a hammer hitting something. We’ve been doing this engineering work for years now, mostly focusing on whatever mechanical parts the local factories need help with. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and we try to sweep up at the end of the day, but by noon the next day, it looks the same again. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes even Sundays if there is a rush. We don't have a big reception area or fancy chairs for people to sit in. Usually, customers just walk straight back to where we are working to talk about what they need. It’s a practical setup. We have a small office for the ledger and some old files, but most of the real action happens out in the sheds. We've seen a lot of businesses come and go in this part of GIDC, but we just keep our heads down and keep the machines running. It’s what we know how to do, and as long as there’s metal to be cut or parts to be machined, we will be right here in our spot.
