You can find us at Shop No.847 along the National Highway No 17 on the Panjim Mapusa Road. We are specifically up in Alto Porvorim, which is a busy stretch for anyone traveling between the two towns. The Gauri Petrol Pump is just a short walk away, so we get a lot of people who notice us after they’ve filled up their tanks. The shop isn’t fancy at all. We have the usual shelves and a few display cases that have seen better days. The road noise is constant, like a background hum that we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We spend our mornings checking the stock and seeing what needs to be reordered. Sometimes the wind blows the dust in from the highway, so there’s always cleaning to do. We get a mix of regulars and people who are just passing through Goa. It’s a good spot because people can pull over easily enough. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us here every day. When the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just sit near the entrance where the light is better. It’s a straightforward business. We show people what we have, and if it’s what they need, they take it. No big fuss or complicated sales talk here. The evening hours are usually the busiest as people head back to Mapusa after work.
