Rd's Photo Studio

Setting up Rd's Photo Studio in Anjuna was a choice we made because we like the vibe near the beach. We are located in Bardez, not too far from the Laguna Beach Resort. It is a pretty nice area, though it gets very crowded when the tourist season starts. Most days, we have sand on the floor that we have to sweep out because people come in straight from the beach. We take photos for all sorts of reasons, whether it is for documents or just someone wanting a nice picture. The studio isn't massive, but we have enough room for the cameras and the lights we use. We don't really do the high-end fancy stuff you see in big cities. We just try to get the lighting right and make sure people look like themselves in the prints. Sometimes the salt in the air messes with the equipment, so we have to be careful about cleaning everything often. Being near Laguna Beach Resort means we see a lot of people just passing through. It is an interesting way to spend the day, meeting folks from all over who are just here for a holiday. We keep things simple and don't try to be something we aren't. It is just a local photo shop in a beautiful part of Goa. We like the work and the location works for us.
