Raj India Corporation Import Export operates out of the Gera Imperium Building. We are up on the 7th floor in unit G709. Patto Plaza is a really busy hub, so there is always something going on downstairs. The parking situation can be a bit of a headache most mornings, but once you get up to the seventh floor, it’s a bit quieter. Our office has a lot of windows, which is nice for light, but it also means it gets quite warm in the afternoons. We have rows of desks covered in documents and ledger books. There’s always someone on the phone or typing away at a keyboard. We don't have any of those modern office perks like bean bags or fancy coffee machines. We just have a kettle and some tea bags in the corner. The floor is tiled and easy to clean, which is good because people are always coming in and out with different papers. Being in Patto means we are close to a lot of other businesses, so you see the same faces in the elevator every day. We spend most of our time tracking shipments and dealing with the usual export-import headaches. It’s a steady pace of work. We stay until the job is done, then we head back down and deal with the Patto traffic to get home after a long day of filing.
