We are situated in the Rajmahal building at number five over in Mala Fontainhas. It’s a bit of an older building, but it serves us well. Cobra Fire And Safety Systems is essentially a place where we store equipment and manage our service calls. We have fire extinguishers of all sizes lined up against the walls and boxes of smoke detectors stacked in the back. It’s a practical space, not meant for showing off. The neighborhood is quite nice and has a lot of character. We spend a lot of our time out at customer sites, checking their systems and making sure things are up to code. When we are in the office, we are mostly dealing with paperwork and taking calls. It can get a bit dusty with all the metal equipment around. We don’t have a fancy website or a big sales pitch. We just know how these systems work and we make sure they are ready if they’re ever needed. It’s a serious job, but we are just regular people doing it. Sometimes we have a chat with the neighbors in the building. It’s a quiet life in Mala for the most part. We’ve been doing this for years, so we know the routines inside out. It’s just a small team of us here, making sure we get the details right. We keep the keys on a big hook by the door.
