Maintenance isn't always pretty, but it’s what we do every day. We manage different properties and handle the repairs that come up. The office is where we coordinate our crews and take calls from people who have a leak or a broken gate. It’s a lot of scheduling and making sure the right tools are in the van before it leaves. We’ve been based here for a while now. The view towards the resort is okay, but we are usually too busy looking at spreadsheets or talking to technicians. It’s a small group of us in the office. We try to stay on top of the maintenance schedules so things don't fall apart. It’s practical work. We deal with plumbers, electricians, and painters all the time. Sometimes the weather in Goa makes the work harder, especially during the monsoon when everything seems to need fixing at once.
