Near the Steel Authority in Frestabal Pampore, that’s where you’ll find our yard. We have been working with granite here in Pulwama for quite some time now. It is a straightforward business, mostly just moving heavy slabs around and making sure they are ready for whoever needs them. The area around here stays pretty busy with all the industrial activity. We don't have a fancy office or a big team of sales people. It is just a few of us who know how to handle the stone. Some days the weather in Pampore makes the work a bit slower, especially when it gets really cold or snowy, but we try to keep things moving as much as we can. Our slabs are stacked up so people can walk through and see the different colors and grains. It isn't a showroom like you see in the big cities, just a practical yard where we keep our stock. We see a lot of local builders and people fixing up their own houses coming through the gates. We don't do much talking or use big words to describe the stone. If it looks good to you and the price works, then we get it loaded up. It is honest work and we have been at it for years. Sometimes the yard gets a bit messy with stone dust and scraps, but that is just part of the job. We are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down.
