Being out here in Village Dudhola is a lot different than being in the middle of a big city. It’s a bit quieter, though the sound of the printing presses usually fills up the room once we get started in the morning. We do a lot of paper work and packaging stuff. There is always that heavy smell of ink and fresh cardboard hanging around the place. It’s not a polished setup by any means. We have pallets of paper sitting around and stacks of finished boxes waiting to be moved out. Sometimes the power acts up because we’re a bit further out, but we have ways to deal with that. We don't have a big sales team or a fancy website. Most of the folks who work here live nearby in the village, so it’s a local crowd. We spend a lot of time just watching the machines to make sure the colors aren't running or the cuts aren't off. It’s repetitive work, sure, but it’s what we know how to do. The floor usually has some scraps of paper on it by the end of the day. We just sweep up and start again the next morning. It’s straightforward work without much fuss. If someone needs something printed or boxed up, they find their way down to Dudhola and we see what we can do for them on the machines we've got in the shop.
