Mittal Hardware

Mittal Hardware is located on Bus Stand Road in Khail Mohalla. It’s right near Bal Bhavan, so we see a lot of families and school kids walking past the shop all day. Being on the road that leads to the bus stand means it is always loud with the horns and the people rushing to catch their rides. We sell the usual hardware stuff like tools, nuts, bolts, and building supplies. The shop is full of heavy metal things, so it’s a bit of a workout moving stuff around every day. My hands are usually a bit dirty from handling the stock, but that is just part of the job. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just rows of shelves and boxes stacked up to the ceiling. If someone needs a specific tool for a home repair, they usually find their way to us. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and most of the builders around here know us by name. It’s a practical business. We don’t spend much time on the computer; we’re usually out on the floor helping someone find the right size of screw or a solid hammer. Life is pretty simple here. We open early, deal with the bus traffic, help our neighbors with their projects, and close up when the sun starts setting over the mohalla. It is a lot of heavy lifting but we don't mind the hard work.
