Sethi Associates

Sethi Associates is located in Jawahar Nagar Camp. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty crowded, especially on market days. Our office is a small room with a couple of old wooden desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. The paint on the walls is a light green that we chose years ago. We don't have a big neon sign, just a small board near the door so people know they have the right place. Most of our day is spent looking at documents and talking to people from the neighborhood. It’s a lot of sitting and typing, and the fan overhead makes a rhythmic clicking sound that I’ve grown fond of. We get a lot of walk-ins, people just stopping by because they were in the camp anyway. There’s a tea stall just two doors down, so there’s always a smell of ginger tea in the air. We don't try to look like those big fancy firms you see in the city center. This is just a local spot where we do our work. Sometimes the kids from the street play cricket outside and a ball hits the door, but we don't mind much. It’s just life in Jawahar Nagar. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people walking past the window. The chair I sit in squeaks every time I lean back, but it's comfortable enough for a long day.
