Our office is right on Kithwari Road, sitting just opposite the Oriental Bank of Commerce. It is a pretty easy place to find if you are looking for it, especially since Jivan Dhara Hospital is also right nearby. We have been here for a good while, dealing with all kinds of paperwork and people coming in and out all day. It is not exactly a silent office. There is usually someone talking on the phone or the sound of the printer going off in the corner. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, files tend to pile up on the desks more than they should. Being across from the bank means there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by our window. We mostly just focus on getting through the tasks at hand, whether it is helping a neighbor with some forms or sorting out bigger projects for folks around town. The furniture is getting a bit old, and the tea we make is probably too strong for most people, but it keeps us going through the afternoon slump. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know the local area well. People drop in without appointments sometimes just to ask a quick question, and we don't mind that much. It’s just how we do things here on Kithwari Road. We have been here long enough that the walls feel like home.
