Dharani Apparels is based at No. 36-b in the Mettu Thottam area. We are right on the Tirupur Main Road, specifically in Rayar Palayam. This is the main road that goes from Palayam to Tirupur, so there are always trucks and bikes passing by our door. Tirupur is a busy place for clothes, and we are right in the middle of that whole scene. Our building is simple and we use it mostly for production and storage of the garments we handle. It can get pretty warm in the afternoons, but we have our routines to keep things moving. There is a lot of activity on the road outside, which makes logistics a bit easier since we are on a main route. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s mostly just people who know how to work with fabric and machines. The space at Mettu Thottam has been our home base for a while. We spend most of our time checking samples and making sure the stitching is right. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the power goes out or the deliveries are late, but we just deal with it as it comes. We prefer to keep things straightforward and local. Being in Rayar Palayam puts us close to everything we need. We just keep working away at our daily orders here and try to keep our customers satisfied without making a big scene about it.
