Bhavani Traders

Bhavani Traders is right at the Four Road Pirivu in Karanampettai, number 603. We’re very close to the bus stand, so there’s a constant stream of people passing by our front door. It’s a very convenient spot for a trading business. We handle a variety of goods, mostly things that local builders and homeowners need. The shop is often full of stuff, sometimes making it a bit hard to walk through, but we manage. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the inventory inside and out. If you ask for something, we can usually find it in a couple of minutes. We aren't big on fancy displays. We just put the items out where people can see them. Being near the bus stand means we talk to a lot of people from out of town too. It’s interesting to hear where everyone is headed. We don't do any flashy advertising. We just rely on being in a good location and treating people right when they come in. It’s a busy life, and the dust from the road gets in everything, but we don't mind. We’ve been here long enough that the sounds of the buses don't even bother us anymore. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and we’re happy with it.
