I’ve been working out of Rajendra Nagar for quite some time now. Our spot is at number 68 on Sardar Samand Road. It isn’t a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. Just a simple room where we get things done every day. Most mornings start with a quick sweep of the front step because the road gets pretty dusty with all the traffic passing by. People often stop by just to ask for directions or see what we are up to. I handle most of the work myself, though sometimes a cousin or a friend helps out when things get busy. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually keep the fan on high and keep the doors open to catch a bit of breeze. We don’t have a big team or a lot of high-tech gear. It’s just me and the basic tools I’ve used for years. Most of our regulars are folks from around the neighborhood who know where to find me. Sometimes the tea stall guy from down the street brings over a few cups, and we take a break right there on the bench. It’s a quiet way to run a business, but it works for us. We just focus on what’s right in front of us. If you walk down Sardar Samand Road, you’ll see the blue door. That’s us. There is no big sign or flashing lights, just our name on the wall.
