We are right at 111 Station Road in Shakti Nagar. Being near the railway station means there is always noise and people running around. The Orientals Insurance Co Ltd has had this spot for a long time. You can hear the trains if you listen closely, which is just part of the background now. Our office is not very large, but it is enough for what we do. We have files stacked up and desks that have seen better days. It feels lived in. People come in from the station sometimes just to ask for directions, and we do not mind. We deal with all the usual insurance paperwork. It can get repetitive, but we have a good group of people working here. We know the local shopkeepers on Station Road quite well. Sometimes the traffic outside gets stuck, and we just watch it from the window. We do not have any big corporate goals or anything, we just want to make sure the records are right and the people who come in get what they need. It is practical work. Shakti Nagar is a busy area and we are right in the middle of it. We keep the doors open and stay busy until it is time to lock up and head home. That is the way it goes every day.
