Shree Sweets & Ketars

Down in Rohat, on the 14th Main 2nd Cross, you can find Shree Sweets & Ketars at house number 23-89. We’re in a bit of a residential area, so it’s a bit different from the big market shops. We handle sweets and we also do catering for local events, though we don't like to make a big fuss about it. The shop is basically a part of the house that we’ve converted. It’s a real family effort. My wife helps with the prep and the kids sometimes help with the packing when they aren't at school. We don't have a professional website or a social media manager. Most of our work comes from word of mouth around Rohat. When someone has a wedding or a small function, they come talk to us. We sit down, have some tea, and figure out what they need. It's a very personal way of doing things. The kitchen is always busy with something or other. We don't have fancy uniforms, just our regular clothes and aprons. We’ve been at this address for years and people know the 23-89 door. It’s quiet on some days and hectic on others. We just take it as it comes and try to do a decent job with every batch of sweets we make. It’s our home and our business all mixed into one. We like it that way and we plan to stay for as long as we can.
