Shree Maha Laxmi Bag Emproriur

Our shop, Shree Maha Laxmi Bag Emproriur, is located right by Bhairughat Pani Darwaza. It's an area with a lot of movement, especially near the old gate. The spelling on our sign is a bit different, but that’s how we’ve always had it. We have bags of all sorts stacked up inside. The space isn't very large, so things can get a bit cluttered when a new shipment arrives. We spend a lot of time just moving stuff around to make room for people to walk. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to get to it yet. It’s mostly just us working here, making sure everything is in its place. The location at Pani Darwaza is convenient because everyone passes through here eventually. You can see the old stone work of the gate from our front door. In the summer, it gets quite hot, so we have a small fan that runs all day. It’s a bit noisy but it helps. People come in looking for something specific, and we try to find it in the stacks. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and carrying, but that’s the job. We've been at Bhairughat for years and we don't plan on moving. It feels right being part of this neighborhood. We open up early and stay late most days, just keeping the shop going as best we can.
