Shree Aaiji Novelty Stores

If you are looking for us, we are right across from the SBI Bank in the Main Bazar of Rani. It is a good spot because people are always coming to the bank and then they see our shop and remember they need something for the house. We have been running Shree Aaiji Novelty Stores for a long time now. The shop is number four in this particular row of buildings. We keep a lot of different things, from school supplies like notebooks and pens to small decorative items. It is a bit crowded in here, especially when more than three people come in at once. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. I usually have to use a small wooden ladder to get the things down from the very top. The Main Bazar is always moving, with bikes and cows and people everywhere. We try to keep the shop organized, but new stock arrives every week and we just find a place for it on the floor or the counter. Most of our customers are locals from around Rani who have been coming to us since they were children. Now they bring their own kids in to buy stickers or small plastic toys. We don't have a fancy sign, just the old one that's been there since we opened. We close for a few hours in the afternoon for lunch and a bit of rest before the evening rush starts.
