Sai Nath Pan Bhandar

Living and working out near the Housing Board on Jodhpur Road is alright, it is a bit away from the main city mess. Sai Nath Pan Bhandar is just a small spot along the way where people stop when they are driving back to their houses. The road gets busy with buses and cars going towards Jodhpur, and we get all that noise all day. We have a little radio that we keep playing just to have some background sound. The shop is small and we have everything within arm's reach. We don't really have space for more than two people to stand inside at once. Most people just pull up their bikes on the side of the road and shout their order. We stay here through the heat and the cold, just watching the traffic go by. The Housing Board area has a lot of families, so we see the same people every evening. Sometimes we run out of change and have to ask the neighbor shop for some. It is a bit of a dusty spot but we keep a broom handy. We don't have any fancy lights or anything, just a basic bulb for when it gets dark. It is just a regular life for us here on the side of Jodhpur Road. We lock up when the traffic thins out and the street gets dark. Then we do it all over again the next day without much complaint.
