Rankawat Photo Goods is at 12 Old Bus Stand on Navlkha Road. Being situated right by the bus stand means there is never a dull moment outside our window. Travelers and students are always rushing by. We have been selling cameras and various photo supplies in this spot for many years. Our shelves are crowded with frames, paper, and gadgets for photographers. The smell of ink and paper is something we have grown to love over the decades. We are a simple local shop, not a big chain or a fancy studio. Every item in our stock is something we know well. If you need a specific lens or a certain type of battery, we can usually find it for you. Buses pulling in and out make a lot of noise, but it's quiet inside unless a customer is testing out a new camera. We use a small counter to talk with people about their photography needs. Sometimes we get handed old, faded pictures that people want to preserve. We don't have a marketing department or a big website. Our routine is just to open the doors in the morning and work until the sun goes down. Navlkha Road is a place with a lot of history, and we are glad to be part of it.
