Our place is located in the Sojatia Bas Industrial Area, which is usually full of trucks and the sound of machines. At Rajasthan Chemicals Minerals, we spend most of our time dealing with different powders and mineral samples that come in from the mines. The warehouse is at number 41279 and it’s a large space with high ceilings, though it still feels cramped when we get a big shipment. Working in an industrial area means there is always a layer of dust on everything, and you get used to the smell of raw materials. We don't have a flashy showroom because most people who come here are just picking up supplies or dropping off orders. It gets really hot during the middle of the day, so we usually take a break when the sun is at its highest. The office is just a small corner partitioned off from the main floor where the fans run constantly to keep the papers from flying away. We have been here for a long time, watching other businesses in Sojatia Bas come and go. It’s a busy life, always checking the weight of the bags and making sure the labels are right. We aren't trying to do anything complicated, just handling the minerals and chemicals that keep other factories running. Most days are the same, just a lot of moving things from one side of the room to the other and keeping track of what is in stock.
