Rajasthan Battery

Out here in Sadri, people need batteries for all sorts of things, from their tractors to their homes when the power goes out. Our shop, Rajasthan Battery, is where we keep all the heavy stuff. It’s a bit of a greasy job sometimes, moving those big lead blocks around. The shelves are reinforced because batteries weigh a lot. We spend our days checking voltages and filling up distilled water. It’s not the cleanest work, and our clothes usually have a few spots on them from the acid. We’ve been in Sadri for years now. Most of our customers are farmers or people from the nearby villages who need their vehicles to start in the morning. If a battery is dead, we try to charge it up first before telling someone they need a new one. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. You just come in, tell us the problem, and we see what we can do. The shop is a bit dark inside because we keep the sun out to stay cool during the hot months. It’s just a practical business for people who need power. Nothing fancy about it, just honest work with our hands. We try to help everyone who comes in with a dead engine or a dark house because we know how much of a headache that is.
