Mahabharat Textiles

We are located at 73 Anand Nagar on Mandia Road. There is a Saraswati School nearby, so you can often hear the kids playing or the bell ringing during the day. The building is pretty simple. Inside, it’s all about the fabric. We have rolls of cloth stacked up against the walls and the smell of cotton is everywhere. It’s a bit dusty, which is normal for a textile place. We spend our hours checking the weave and making sure the colors are looking right. Sometimes the light isn't great in the back corners, so we use handheld lamps to inspect the material. The road outside, Mandia Road, is usually quite busy with trucks and rickshaws moving through Anand Nagar. We’ve repeated our address on the paperwork many times just to make sure deliveries don’t get lost. It’s a hardworking environment here. No one wears suits; we’re all in casual clothes because you’re bound to get some lint or thread on you by noon. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. Some of the people working here have been with us since the start. We just keep our heads down and handle the textiles. When the school lets out, the street gets even more crowded, so we usually try to finish our heavy loading before that happens. It’s just a regular textile shop doing what needs to be done to keep the orders moving out.
