Narendra Singh Malawat

You can find me, Narendra Singh Malawat, at the Bali Court Campus in Bhitwara. Being near the court means there is always a lot of movement. People are always coming and going, looking for help or waiting for their turn. My office is just a small space inside the campus. It’s quite plain, with just a few chairs and a heavy wooden desk that has been here as long as I have. The walls have a few calendars hanging on them, mostly for keeping track of dates. It gets very hot in Bhitwara during the summer, and the fan in my office just moves the warm air around. I usually start my day by sorting through a stack of papers. There’s no big staff here, just me handling the daily grind. I spend a lot of time listening to people’s stories and trying to make sense of their situations. It can be tiring, but it’s what the job requires. The court campus has a particular feel to it, a bit serious and a bit hurried. I often take a break in the afternoon to get a cold drink from the stall nearby. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s steady work. I’ve been in this same spot for years and most of the regulars know me by name. We just do what we can to keep things moving along properly. It takes a lot of patience to work here, but you get used to it.
