Narayan Jyotish Karyalaya

Narayan Jyotish Karyalaya is situated at number 6 in the busy Sarafa Bazar. This place has been our base for quite a while, and we’ve seen the market change around us over the years. Inside the karyalaya, things are much slower and quieter than the busy street outside. We spend our days looking at birth charts and calculating the positions of the stars for the people who visit us. It is a small room with just enough space for a desk and a few seats for visitors. There’s no fancy technology here, just the traditional books and our own knowledge. People come to us with all sorts of questions about their lives, their families, or their work. We try to be as clear as possible with what we see in the charts. Sarafa Bazar is always full of people, so there’s a lot of energy right outside our door. The office smells of old paper and the occasional stick of incense. We don't do any big advertising; people usually find us through their friends or relatives. Sometimes the work involves a lot of waiting for the right time to do things. We take our time with every person who sits down with us. It’s not about rushing; it’s about making sure we get the details right. It is a traditional kind of life, rooted in the history of the bazaar and the people who have been coming here for generations.
