Our shop, Mangaldeep Glass & Gift, is situated near Dhan Mandi, right by the Old Bus Stand. Because we handle glass, I’m always telling people to be careful where they put their bags. We have glass sets, vases, and various gift items packed into the displays. The shelves are mostly metal and wood, and they've seen better days. It gets very dusty here because of all the buses passing by, so I’m constantly wiping things down. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always someone asking for directions to the bus platforms. I grew up around here, so I know the area like the back of my hand. The shop is a bit cramped, especially when we get a large shipment of glassware. I have to stack the boxes carefully so nothing breaks. We don't have any fancy music playing; usually, it's just the sound of traffic and the occasional horn. Some of the glass pieces have been on the shelf for a while, but they're still good. My family has been doing this for a long time. We aren't corporate or anything like that. It’s just us, serving whoever walks in from the street or the bus stop. It can be a bit chaotic during the festival seasons, but that's just part of the job. We keep it straightforward and don't try to be anything we're not. It is just a small local shop that stays open late most nights.
