Mahalaxmi Sweet And Namkeen

We've been at the Dharampura New Bus Stand for a while now. Most people know us as Mahalaxmi Sweet And Namkeen. Our shop is at 15/65, right where things get busy with the buses coming and going. It’s a loud spot, but we like it here. We spend most of our mornings getting the glass counters ready. There's always something to do, like checking the trays or making sure the bags are stocked up. We don't have fancy decorations or big signs. It's just a regular shop where you can stop by while waiting for your ride. Sometimes the rain gets in a bit if the wind is wrong, but we just wipe it down and keep going. We know the regulars by their faces, even if we don't always know their names. It’s a lot of work staying on your feet all day, especially when the afternoon heat hits. The shelves stay pretty full of different snacks and the sweet stuff people like to take home. We don't really do much advertising. People just see the sign and walk in. Sometimes we run out of things early if it's a holiday or a busy weekend at the station. We try to keep things organized, but it gets messy when there's a crowd. That's just how it is here. If you're passing through the bus stand, you'll see us there. It’s just us doing what we do every day.
