Mahalakshmi Kirana Store

Mahalakshmi Kirana Store has been at the New Bus Stand in Keshav Nagar for quite some time. We handle a lot of the daily grocery needs for the people living around here. It’s a small shop, but we make sure we have the essentials. Things like tea leaves, cooking oil, and cleaning supplies are always in demand. The location near the bus stand means we see a lot of travelers too. They usually just want water or a quick snack. We have a small fridge for cold drinks, which is popular in the summer. It’s mostly just family running the place. We don't have many employees. I spend a lot of time checking the stock and ordering more when we run low. The shelves are made of wood and they've been there since we opened. Sometimes the street noise is a lot, with all the horns and people shouting. You get used to it though. We don't do anything special for marketing. Our customers come because they know we are here and we have what they need. It’s a practical business. We keep a ledger for the regular locals. Every day is pretty much the same, which I don't mind. We just keep the shop open and wait for the next customer. It’s a steady way to make a living in Keshav Nagar. We try to be organized but things get messy when the deliveries arrive in the afternoon. We just deal with it one box at a time.
