About Komal Confectionary – Food & Beverages in Pali
I've been running Komal Confectionary for a good while now here in Janta Colony. The shop is at 205 A, right near the Chamunda Mata Mandir. You can usually hear the temple bells from inside the store when they start the prayers. It’s a quiet enough street except for when there’s a festival going on. I mostly stock things like candies, biscuits, and small snacks that the kids from the neighborhood come looking for after school. Sometimes they don't have enough change, and I just tell them to bring it next time. The shelves are getting a bit old and the paint is peeling in the corners, but it does the job. I spend my afternoons sitting by the door waiting for the sun to go down a bit because it gets quite hot in this part of the colony. I don’t have any big staff or anything, just me and occasionally my nephew helps out when he isn't busy. People stop by to grab a bottle of water or some chips while they're walking to the temple. It isn't a very large space, so I have to stack the boxes pretty high to fit everything in. I try to keep things organized but sometimes it gets a bit messy when the new stock arrives. It’s just a regular neighborhood shop where I know most people by their names and what they like to buy.
